Biscotti

This handsome, neutered boy is estimated to be about 2 years old and is ready to leave his shelter days behind for good.

Biscotti arrived at the shelter on July 8 in rough shape. At just 50 pounds, he was very underweight and in need of some extra care. He is slowly gaining weight, but what he really needs is a home where he can continue to fill out, not only his belly, but his heart too.

Biscotti recently spent some extra time outside the shelter with a new volunteer friend, and he had a wonderful time exploring beyond his kennel. He walks pretty well on a leash, although he loves stopping to investigate every interesting smell along the way! He is curious, happy, and ready to discover all the adventures life has to offer.

One thing we know for sure is that Biscotti LOVES treats! Ask him to sit, and he will do it ever so politely while hoping a tasty reward is headed his way. His love of food makes him a great candidate for continued training and gives his future family a fun way to build a strong bond with him.

Biscotti also appears to do well with other dogs, which could make him a wonderful addition to the right home.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion who just needs a second chance, come meet Biscotti. He has already overcome so much. Now he needs someone to show him what it feels like to be safe, cherished, and truly loved.
