Meet Ember

Ember is a 4-year-old beauty who made her way to the shelter by no fault of her own. Her owner had someone cat sitting, and unfortunately the situation changed, they were unable to come back to get her and the sitter could not keep her. She is a darling girl who loves meeting everyone who stops by her kennel, especially if they give her chest scratches. She is a little on the hefty side and not grooming herself well, so staff shaved some mats off her back, giving her a pretty glorious reverse mohawk for a little bit. Ember has lived with other cats, dogs and kids and done quite well with everyone. She is a laid-back girl who seems like she'll make herself right at home wherever she is.
