Fawn Due

Fawn Due arrived at the shelter as a stray on July 23. Thanks to her microchip, we were able to uncover a little of her past. Sadly, we learned that her owner had passed away. We do not know how Fawn Due and her traveling companion ended up on the streets of Decatur or who may have cared for them afterward.

Now, Fawn Due is ready for the next chapter of her story, and we would love for it to be filled with love, security, and a family of her own.

Fawn Due is an estimated 2-year-old Pit Bull mix who weighs approximately 45 pounds. She is a great medium size with plenty of playful energy! She loves spending time outside and seems very interested in playing with other dogs. Watching her enjoy the fresh air and freedom is sure to make you smile.

Fawn Due can be a little timid when meeting new people. She is still adjusting to the shelter and all the unfamiliar sights and sounds around her. Beneath that cautious first impression is a sweet, curious girl who simply needs a little time, patience, and reassurance to feel safe.

After experiencing so much change, Fawn Due deserves the chance to leave her shelter days behind and discover what it feels like to be part of a family again.

Could you be the person who shows Fawn Due that her best days are still ahead? Come meet this sweet girl and give her the chance she deserves!
