Get to Know Josephine

Josephine was brought to the shelter as a stray and went unclaimed by any owner. She made her way up to the adoption floor, wagging her tail and giving kisses to everyone she passed. She is a delightful little thing, sure to brighten up your day! She loves meeting people and seems pretty interested in other dogs as well. She doesn't seem to have had much training in her past, occasionally reacting to "sit" and down" but not much else. She is quite awkward "walking" on the leash - her version is a couple leaps then a belly flop and slide, stand up and do it all over again. Each day she gets more comfortable with this weird thing around her neck telling her where to go. She is super interested in toys and treats, responding better to commands with a little treat after a job well done. Josephine would do great in a household with some children to play and grow with.

*Josephine was adopted, but sadly came back to the shelter as a stray. A few weeks later she was reclaimed by her owner, but unfortunately has now been surrendered back to MCAC. Josephine could use some training and a stable home environment.
