Meet Knight

Knight was surrendered to the shelter after his owner was no longer allowed to keep him at her residence. No friends or family were able to take him in, so MCAC was the last resort. He let us know immediately his true dream is to be an opera singer, hitting many unique notes we don't often hear at the shelter, mostly when he's excited, but sometimes when he doesn't want to be alone. Aside from getting a little excited on occasion and wanting to take the reigns on his walks, he does fairly well on a leash and knows basic commands. He was very comfortable claiming his place on the sofa and loves snuggles with staff. His former owner stated he can have some separation anxiety, but he is crate trained. He's lived with other dogs, kids and cats in his previous home.
