Meet Luis

Luis is a big, lovable boy estimated to be around 3 years old who came to the Macon County Animal Control Foundation as a stray on March 10. We believe he may be a Mastiff/Boxer mix, and he definitely brings all the best qualities of both.

He’s sweet, playful, and seems to already have a good foundation with basic training. Luis is very treat motivated, which makes him fun to work with and eager to learn. He enjoys playtime just as much as he enjoys being close to his people.

Luis is what we like to call a “full-contact cuddler.” He’s strong, a little slobbery, and completely full of love. If you are looking for a big dog with an even bigger heart, Luis is ready to be your loyal companion and constant shadow.

He would thrive in a home that can match his energy, continue his training, and give him plenty of attention and affection. In return, you’ll get a best friend who loves deeply and lives life with enthusiasm.
