Meet Mia

Mia is a sweet, young girl who was surrendered to the shelter after her owner was dealing with an unstable living situation and couldn't keep her. She wasn't in the best shape when she came in, never having seen a vet and dealing with some ear problems. She's being treated by medical staff and waiting for an adopter who won't mind having to take her to the vet to get her ears checked every one in a while. She's a pretty timid girl; not knowing what her past really shows, we're going slow and showing her all the love in the world. After she spends some time with someone, she starts to warm up and let her personality sneak through her fear. She is a very lovely girl just trying to figure out life. She's been around other dogs and children and seems like she would do fine living with them in her future home.
