Meet Milano

Milano was brought to the shelter as a stray and went unclaimed during her hold. She is an absolutely darling girl who loves making friends. There has yet to be a staff member she hasn't gone right up to and given kisses. She likes to give hugs and does well with commands like "sit" and "down". She walks very well on a leash and enjoys going for afternoon walks with staff. Milano seems like she would do quite well with other dogs and children. Some medical concerns arose as she was waiting for a new home, and she spent some time off the adoption floor. She has undergone two mass-removal surgeries, but a biopsy did reveal sarcoma. While Doc feels she had clean margins during the last surgery, future adopters should be prepared for the future and speak with their vet about possibilities. Milano deserves a loving home for the time she has, not just a shelter family.
