Get to Know Murdock

Murdock was brought to the shelter after being abandoned by his owner. He was quickly adopted for his looks, but unfortunately surrendered back to the shelter just 3 weeks after going home. His adopters found he can scale a fence pretty easily and after he broke out of their yard a couple times, they decided he wasn't the right dog for them. Murdock is a puppy still, with a lot of energy and a curiosity for the world around him. He would do great in a household that will take him with on their adventures to feed that curiosity. He will need to be in a home that either has a higher, wood fence, or is willing to put him on some sort of tie-out. He clearly didn't have a lot of socialization in his past, but he loves meeting new people and getting to know everyone. He hasn't had a lot of training, but is still pretty young, with plenty of time to learn something new.

*Update*

Murdock has now been adopted and returned THREE TIMES, all due to his energy level. We need someone who takes it seriously when we has he is HIGH ENERGY and needs an active home. He is a runner and fence climber/jumper. He will need a tie-out in the yard and frequent exercise, as well as kenneled when you are not home. He is a puppy who has been left alone most of his life; the last thing he needs is to be bouncing in and out of the shelter because people are not taking the responsibility seriously. PLEASE ask every question you can possibly think of when visiting this guy.
