Meet Opal

Opal is a sweet, gentle girl who came to the shelter as a stray on 4/6. When she first arrived, she was scared, skinny, and unsure of the world around her. Shelter life has been a big adjustment, but Opal has been making wonderful progress and is slowly learning that people can be kind.

This beautiful girl is still building her confidence, but she has started to open up to shelter staff and volunteers. Watching her personality begin to shine has been so rewarding, and we know she has so much love to give once she feels safe.

Opal would do best with a patient, understanding family who will give her the time, love, and reassurance she needs to continue growing. She enjoys spending time outside, running the fence with the other pups, exploring the yard, and going for walks. She also walks well on a leash, which makes outdoor time even more enjoyable with her.

And can we talk about how adorable she is when those ears pop up? Opal has the sweetest face and the most beautiful eyes.
