Meet Parker

Parker was picked up by wardens after being called in as a stray. He had no tags, no microchip and no one came looking for him. During his hold, staff had some questions about his ability to hear, and during processing, Doc determined his is an older dog, fully deaf and does seem to have some "old man problems", like muscle weakness. He may not be able to hear, but he sure knows when someone is excited, giving kisses and hopping along right with them. He is very motivated by treats, but we have not found any hand signals that he is familiar with. He may not be perfect, but he'll be a perfect fit for someone! He has an amazing personality and absolutely adores anyone who's willing to give him some time.
