Meet Rattlesnake Jake, a sweet and lovable boy who is back at the shelter and hoping this time leads him straight to his forever home.

Jake recently spent a couple of weeks in a home, and while it did not work out, it was no fault of his own. He proved himself to be a perfect gentleman. Sometimes it just is not the right match, but that does not change what a great dog he is.

Rattlesnake Jake is an expert napper who enjoys his downtime just as much as he loves a little playtime. He has a soft spot for crinkle toys and stuffed animals, and if you give him one, you might see a little “snowstorm” of fluff before long.

He is housebroken and walks well on a leash once he gets that initial burst of energy out. Jake is friendly with other dogs but is also perfectly content keeping himself entertained.

More than anything, Jake is ready for a home where he can settle in for good. He has so much love to give and is patiently waiting for someone to give him the second chance he deserves.
