Meet Tex

Tex was brought to the shelter as a stray after being found under a local residence. He went unclaimed during his hold and has been moved up to the adoption floor to find a new family. He found a place to call home, but sadly his owner fell ill, and he was surrendered back to the shelter. He can be a bit of an introvert, hanging back watching everyone else. It takes a little bit of doing but after a bit he will come forward for treats and toys. He's a snuggly guy who enjoys spending time with people, especially curled up on their laps. He's currently enjoying life in the cat colony and seems to do quite well with other cats.
