Vito

Vito is an estimated 8-month-old neutered male who arrived at the shelter as a stray after being found in the country on July 24. At approximately 39 pounds, he is still growing and has all the potential to become a wonderful lifelong companion.

The shelter can be overwhelming for a young dog, so Vito may seem a little timid when meeting someone new. Give him a few minutes, a gentle approach, and perhaps a tasty treat, and his sweet personality begins to shine. Once he realizes he is safe, his tail starts wagging and does not want to stop!

Vito is very treat-motivated, eager to learn, and ready for a family who will help him build his confidence. With patience, love, and positive reinforcement, this handsome boy is sure to blossom into a loyal and loving best friend.

And those beautiful brown eyes are nearly impossible to resist. They are just waiting for someone special to look into them and say, “You’re coming home with me.”

If you are looking for a young dog with a gentle heart and so much potential, stop by the shelter during adoption hours to meet Vito. One look at that wagging tail might be all it takes to fall in love!
