Meet Zeus Potato, an estimated 1½-year-old terrier mix with the sweetest speckle-faced look and a tender heart. Weighing 45 pounds, Zeus Potato came to the shelter as a stray on May 22nd, and sadly, no one came to reclaim him.

This handsome boy is still trying to understand why he ended up at the shelter, so he can be a little unsure when meeting new people. But with patience, kindness, and a little time, Zeus Potato begins to relax and let his gentle personality shine through. Once he knows you are a friend, he is truly the sweetest guy.

Zeus Potato enjoys treats, especially from people he trusts, and he loves to play once he feels comfortable. He also walks nicely on a leash, making him a wonderful companion for someone willing to help him feel safe, loved, and secure again.

Zeus Potato is looking for a patient family who will give him the time he needs to settle in and show him that happily ever afters really do exist.
