Adoption Application
You are about to take the first step toward adopting a new friend!
Your application is forwarded to Macon County Animal Control and Care Center. MCAC will contact you upon approval. Fill out an application early so when the right pet comes along, you will already be pre-approved! Applications stay on file for 60 days.
In order to adopt an animal from the Macon County Animal Control and Care Center, the applicant must be over the age of 18 and approved based off of the completed application. Please keep in mind adopting a pet is a lifetime commitment! Submitting this application does not automatically mean you are able to adopt.
Applications do not "hold" an animal for you. Applications are processed in the order they are received and can take up to 72 hours to process.
