Meet Cowboy

Cowboy was brought to the shelter under some questionable circumstances. He was "surrendered" by someone who said they took him from a situation they didn't like but refused to give that owner information. Sadly, no one came in for him, so he made his way to the adoption floor. He can be a bit timid indoors, and shy away from the leash like he's had some bad experiences with it, but once he gets outside, all he wants to do is play. He loves zooming around the grass, sniffing all the fun smells he can find, and chasing thrown toys. He loves getting ear scratches, but he loves playing tag even more and tries to get you to chase him around. He is full of personality and just needs someone to look past his sad kennel face and think of what an amazing companion he will be once he's in a home and gets to really be himself! Cowboy is just 2 years old and is said to be a pit mix of sorts.
