Community Engagement
Helping to improve the community where we live, work, and play.
The Decatur and Macon County Animal Shelter Foundation strives to help control the pet population by supporting a spay/neuter program for qualifying residents. In addition, DMCASF works with community members to trap, neuter, and release cats and kittens who would be well suited for barn life to participating barn homes in Macon County. Please read more about these special programs. We have also provided helpful information for reference in the event of a disaster or emergency.
