Meet Dallie

Dallie is a sweet little girl who lacks confidence. She was surrendered to the shelter after her family's landlord would not allow her to stay at the residence. She is being very cautious about who she lets herself get close to, but with a little earned trust, she comes over to express her gratitude. She is a super gentle girl who just needs someone to show her love and teach her how to trust again. Her biggest form of expression right now are head bumps and closed eyes with her head tilted up, as if saying, yes, I can finally breathe and relax. Come visit Dallie, sit on the floor with her and she'll come up in your lap to ask for affection. Pups like her just break our hearts, she needs a new family quickly. Unfortunately, her owner stated she does not do well with cats or dogs but did well with children. The shelter has not tested her with other dogs, but you are always welcome to do a meet and greet to see how she would do with your dogs.
