Meet Shawn

Good boy Shawn was much more interested in seeing his bestie than posing for the camera this morning. Called in as a stray, wardens went to pick up this terrified, emaciated baby for safe keeping: no one claimed him on his hold. A devoted staff member has worked with him every day, including some days off, to help get him socialized and trusting people again. He's now ready for adoption and can't wait to find a loving home that will treat him the way he deserves to be treated. He is extremely sweet and gentle, and seems to finally be getting his energy back, running back and forth to see said staff member when he was outside. He's still a bit on the thin side but is gaining weight at a healthy pace.
