Meet Thena

Thena was brought to the shelter as a stray and went unclaimed by her owner, though they did message the Facebook page. Sadly, they are going through a hard time and were unable to bring her back home, but they were kind enough to give us information on her so we can help find her a well-suited home. Thena is a darling girl who loves meeting people, more so, doing her best to melt into them and become one, enjoying the tightest snuggles and hugs. She has lived with cats and dogs, though admittedly does have high prey drive. She just needs a proper, slow introduction to learn who is a friend. She does well with older kids but can be a bit hyper and doesn't really know what personal space is.

*Thena was adopted but sadly surrendered back to the shelter just 4 short days later. Thena (all new dogs to your home) should be kenneled while no one is home, at least while she is getting to know her new environment. She is also said to not like cats.
